Mystery Movie: Turtleneck: Casino Heist

Mystery Movie: Turtleneck: Casino Heist
Now the reason why I have summoned you all to the scene of the crime today is to help reconstruct the events that occurred on the night in question.

Just tell us where the diamonds are.

They never left the safe.

What are you talking about? We already searched the safe and it was empty.

Ah! You searched a safe, but did you search this safe? Go ahead. Open it.

I can't remember the combination.

Then I'll do it for you. (He punches a hole through the safe door and pulls out the diamonds.) Paper mache. This whole casino is made of paper mache. On the night of the crime, everyone was in this fake casino while the real casino was empty. Gamblers in the act of gambling tend not to notice when the casino they occupy is picked up by a helicopter and transported into the middle of the desert.

A casino in the desert? Something that crazy looking would be noticed immediately.

That's why it was tucked into a hole in the side of a cliff without anyone inside noticing.

A whole casino? Picked up by a helicopter?

Quite possible for a casino as light as this one. Then they spiked the drinks until everyone was unconscious and transported everyone to the real casino under the cover of darkness.

Have you established the motive for this crime?

Yes. Apparently it costs an enormous sum to construct casinos out of paper mache.
